Abstract
Nowadays, we are using modern computer networks to distribute the documents quickly. These networks are economical. Because, the price of the equipment that is used to copy, to print and to process the information is reduced. The adoption of electronic distribution of copyrighted material is accompanied by the illicit distribution and illicit copying.
The main objective of the Project Metrics is to track the status of the software projects. The main part of this application is Verification and Validation.
The main aim of Marine operations and management system project is to develop a system to maintain the information about marine operations. The computerization on special tasks is necessary to streamline the information flow and activities. This will increase the efficiency. It will reduce the manual works and labour cost. The main purpose of the Marine Operations and Management System is to provide the marine operation reports and records in an electronic form using the internet. JAVA language is used to develop this project and all the record stores in database.
The main aim of the Intranet Chatting System project is to develop a system for chatting with the remote clients or users on internet or local networks. In this project, a client can chat with the remote users using a Java client/server combination. If a Client wants to communicate with a user on a remote host, he will send a request to the Server using an identification name like chat-id. The server will receive the client’s request and checks the client-id in the server domain. If the match is found then server will accept the client’s request. Later, the client can start chatting with the remote users available on the local network or internet.
Nowadays mobile phones became more famous and they are considered as the basic necessity of a person. They are powerful communication media. By using mobile phone, a person can communicate with other persons easily. A wireless mobile phone is a very new device to all computer users. Almost all computer users are aware of wireless mobile phones. But they don’t know about the idea of being able to connect to the Internet in a similar way. Majority of the computer users are still not aware about connecting a modem into a phone to connect to the Internet remotely.
