BhuvishThe main objective of the proposed project is to develop an Online Defect Tracking System for the applications that are developed in an organization. With the help of internet, we can use the Defect Tracking System (DTS). By using this system we can detect the defects in an application or module, can assign those detected defects to the individuals. Also we can search the solution to solve these defects. User maintenance, user access control, report generators, email notifications are the important features of the Defect Tracking System. This system is a web based application and we can access it in the organization.
We developed this system to reduce the manual work of individuals. It is a user-friendly system and saves time. This software is completely integrated with CMS (Content Management System) solution and CRM (Customer Relationship Management).

The activities which are included in the development of defect tracking system are given below. Based on the database integration approach, these activities will try to automate the entire process.
The end user can use this system to detect the defects in applications or modules. With the help of different protocols like https etc, this system provides high level of security so there is no risk of data mismanagement at any level while the project development is under process. The system Interface gives better environment to solve any type of defects. New user also can use this system easily and efficiently. By using the various classes, it provides file upload and mail features. The proposed system provides various controls and it is very user-friendly.
The system will capture the complete detail of any defect from this user interface and transfers that detail to the particular administrator. Each and every defect details should be stored in the centralized data base server and company will maintain those details.
