Data Grid Management System

The main objective of Data Grid Management System project is to develop a portal for managing the access to many databases on a grid through a single sign-on facility. This project is very useful for the scientist. He can make computations that depend on data from various data sources. He can access this database through a web browser. By using grid computing standards, this system will fetch data from the various data sources.

The Data Grid Management System supports multiple users. Administrator user can add new data sources and remove old data sources. This system provides associated privileges to every user. These privileges determine the set of data sources that are accessible to that user. This portal provides an introduction to the opportunities and challenges of this emerging technology. This portal is very useful for the Novices and experts.

Data Grids are the next generation data handling systems. By using the data grids, we can manage the tera-bytes of inter organizational data and storage space. A data grid (data grid) is a logical name space consisting of storage resources and digital entities that is created by the cooperation of autonomous organizations.
