The proposed Crime logger project is an interactive Web application. We developed this project in 3-tier architecture with Ajax features. The main aim of this project is to increase the efficiency of Police. The Criminal Justice System checks the sharing of information within the organization and across the States in the country. National Crime Records Bureau standardized Seven Integrated Police Forms to investigate the crimes and criminals at national level. These integrated forms will provide the information required by Criminal Justice System and they are taken as the basis for Criminal Justice System Crime Module development.

The effective coordination between different departments / entities in criminal justice system like Forensic Science Laboratories and Prosecution Department is very important. The transfer and access of information between the various departments will help us in collecting the inputs required for proper and faster investigation of a criminal case.

By using this project, the police can enter the details of all criminals and he can view the record of all criminals. Also in this project, he can maintain all the details of criminal and his criminal activities. The three main users of this project are given below:

• Circle-Inspector
• Sub-Inspector
• Police Constable

Based on their authentication modes, these users can view and edit the records of criminals. This project is user-friendly and it is very useful for the police department.
