Advanced Encryption Standard to Improvise System Speed

For securing the sensitive information, this Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) method is used. NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) has published this encryption method. Now this method is used all over the world to encrypt the information. AES will be used as the approved standard for a wide range of applications and will replace Data Encryption Standard (DES), which is old method.

Dr.  Joan Daemon and Dr. Vincent Rijmen developed this AES algorithm and it is also called as Rijndael, which is the combination of the names of these two developers. Rijndael is a block cipher algorithm which has no drawbacks and secures information. It is a conventional (symmetric key) system which takes a block of a certain size as input and gives corresponding block of the same size as output. The transformation needs the secret key as second input. It is important to know about the secret key.
