The main aim of this project is to maintain the conveyor automatically by sensing the objects placed in the conveyor and to control the speed of the motor with the help of RPM sensor. Description
This Automatic Conveyor for Industrial Automation has:
1) Two object sensors- they will detect the objects and sends the signal to the motor driving circuit to turn on or off the motor.
2) RPM control circuit- it will control the speed of the motor driving the conveyor.
The read performance of a static reader is highly affected by the moving tags on a conveyor belt. The read performances of current RPM control systems are affected by the dynamic environments. The main of this project is to evaluate a static reader by identifying moving tags on a conveyor belt. In this project, we proposed a algorithm that enables the conveyor belt to dynamically adjust its speed according to the load automatically. It recognizes the tags without prior knowledge of how many tags are distributed on the conveyor belt. This algorithm tries to increase the average speed of the conveyor belt and it also identifies more than 99% of tags on the conveyor belt. In addition, we can apply this algorithm for various reader’s ranges. The conveyer will actuate only when a tag is sensed. By regulating the conveyor automation, this project will save the power of motor operating the conveyor. The speed of conveyor will be displayed simultaneously along with total number of tags handled by the conveyor.
