Online Banking project is the web based system for the bank which manages the day-to-day transactions of the bank and also allows the customers for balance enquiry, fund transfer to another account of the same bank, loan details, request for cheque books etc through internet. The proposed Banking System is the web based system which offers following features to the customers: Balance Enquiry, Funds Transfer to another account, Loan payment, cheque book request form, Applying for Fixed deposit, Transaction report, etc.
The main scope of the project is:
- It allows customers to open savings account, loan account, fixed deposit account through online.
- The account will be accessible to the authorized persons i.e. who have the valid username and password.
- It also allows us check for the balance, Funds Transfer to another account, Request for
- cheque book and viewing Monthly and annual statements.
Modules of Online Banking project
- Accounts module: The customers can view their account by entering login id and password. The account record will contain customer registration details, account details, etc.
- Fund Transfer module: This module allows customers to transfer funds through online. The user must enter transaction password or OTP number to transfer funds through online. Customer must register payee account to transfer funds.
- Transaction module: In the transaction module the customer can view all kinds of transaction by entering date, account number, etc. The customer can generate and print report of transactions.
- Loan module: In this module the customer can send loan request. The administrator can approve or reject the loan request sent by customer. This module also allows to customer to repay the loan amount by installment.
- Fixed Deposit Module:This module helps customers to create fixed deposit account through online. In the fixed deposit the amount automatically deducts every month from customers savings account.
- Service module:In the service module the customer can send cheque book request, change transaction password and login password, contact, etc.
- Profile module: In the profile module the customers can view and modify their profile details.
- Dashboard module: The dashboard module is for administrator where admin can view all customer details, account details, transaction details, etc.
