Stores Management System in Java : The stores management system is an application that is mainly designed for the web based manufacturing industry. This application will help in maintaining or scheduling the day to day manufacturing operations based on the daily sales updated from the dealers. Once they update the daily sales of the last week as well as the orders of the next delivery, the schedule of the next week production can be drawn easily. This application will also help in generating the report based on the sales that have taken place. This will be one of the useful applications that will help the manufacturing industry.
The order will be placed once the rates of the parts are been finalized. The stocks will be updated once the parts are been supplied. The database must be strong enough to hold all the records. The purposes of this application are the capital works, operation and maintenance work and other commercial activities like hiring equipments etc. The features that can be included in this application are as follows:
- Dealers database management: The details of the dealers like name, address, sales and many other information can be maintained easily through this application.
- Suppliers database management: The details of the suppliers like name, address, parts or equipments supplied can be maintained easily through this application.
- Stocks database management: The information related to the stock availability can be maintained with great ease.
- Report: The reports can be generated based on the sales that have taken place on day to day basis.
- Sales database management: The dealers will update the sales that have taken place on the day to day basis.
- High security: This application will help in providing high security to the data that is stored through this application. Only the authorized users will be having access to the data in the database.
